Wow, hard to belive we are actually already upgrading our space due to clients needs. The new studio is currently being built here in Lebanon. I spent almost a full year researching and looking into commercial real-estate for the new space. To be honest, it is simply outragious how much money people want for a lease, let alone a commercial building.

What I ended up deciding was building a new facility from scratch. First this gives me total control over the floor plan, which is 2500 square feet with 14 foot ceilings. This will make it one of the largest studios in the tri-state area. Second it also gives me total freedom on the acoustic design. I have built two other studios from scratch, so I have learned what to do, but more importantly what not to do. Also, this time around I am working with a studio designer out of Nashville (name witheld until contract is finalized). Trust me, you have seen his studios!
The new studio will also feature two, yes two control rooms. This will allow us to run multiple projects at one time. What does that mean? It means getting projects done quicker for our clients. That rocks. As I get things finalized I will post them to the site. First being the floor plan of the new place. After that, construction will start on control room number 1. We will get that room built and tuned to start things off. Construction on the new tracking room (did I mention 14 foot ceilings!) is going to be tough to say the least. Cant imagine the drum tones! Stay tuned.
